and might be some spoilers, of course.
summing up the thing in a quick journal since my computer & internet connection both giving up everything - and by everything I also mean giving me the chance to write a journal and illustrate it. anyway.
since the hungarian Disney does not air new episodes for...a long time, and airs live-character-somethings, and plays only 3 cartoons, including this one, I had to start to watch the show myself, on computer, in english. (here are like the first 16 episodes, until the moustache episode, which just came out as new around january??! )
this is one of the first shows that makes the voices perfect-I also love the hungarian and the english voices (there's always some difference between these two-this is what makes me to decide, which one is better- but in this show they just got everything together!yay, hungarians!) I think I don't have to mention that the two best voices award got for Hannibal's and Viceroy's voice actors.
so, where to start?maybe at the beginning-since I can't really sum anything up, why exactly I like it, let me show some examples.
this is one of the sickest(only in a positive way!!) cartoons/shows I've ever watched. okay, I usually watch shows like this, see Rocky and Bullwinkle ('50s, cold war, soviet spies with ex-nazi boss, etc) or Sherlock(instant heart-breaking, season 6 will air when I'm about 30) as example.s.
but this one!!
I can tell you, there's no human on this planet -except the creators- who's seen the first 16 episodes more times than me. due to the repeatings that I told you in the beginning, and airing the show ONLY at 1:15 am, I've been watching the episodes since december. (and I didn't mention that it's after 2 Violetta episodes and at night they're playing ONLY it's first 67 episodes then they re-start it uaaaaah Violetta, nein! )
so yea, let's see some examples!
so, it starts with Randy, being a ninja- sometimes it ain't easy, but I can tell ya for sure, Randy has to learn a LOT until he becomes a responsible person. I love , how we got to know EVERYTHING from the first episode.
Randy's and Howard's "did I left the oven on?I did!"-faces are funny to collect.
it ain't easy...but sometimes the robot-destroying solutions are way too sick!(+) XD
we have a very powerful side on the bad side. if I don't mention the Sorcerer and his rat here (wtf, he rides on rats??you guys serious??XDDDDDD ) and later, the Sorceress...of course, I'll mention them, but look at the robots and creatures which are created by this gaynius, requested by the man who always yells, when it's about the ninja. (best 2 characters on the planet, if ya ask me)
my favorite creations/robots were obviously Nicholas and Franz. second place goes to Steve Riley (who actually exists like Ranginald??lol) and the leader of the robo apes.
about favorite episodes, it's very hard to decide. I'd say (between a lot) the monster drill one, weinerman up! GRAVE PUNCHER THE MOVIE of course, Nukid on the block, but I'd mention nearly all of the episodes in which these two idiots, Hannibal and Willem appear. (should I say lamer eps?well-let's leave it out now.*cough*ninjacamp*cough*)
there are a lot of moments shown only for one second, and you discover them after re-watching the ep on computer. and there are a lot of puns, jokes (GP-the movie "there's no better movie 'Since I don't know when!' "-says Randy XD ) and also, the one above, I just noticed that they're sitting on the same chair after stopping it.
also, the smiles, the faces and sometimes the random stoppings which bring smile to your face.
here I wanted to get the funny Randy face, but then suddenly XDDD
also, I didn't mention the crossovers yet!! I couldn't even count them, maybe there was one even from Rocky n Bullwinkle (Bash Johnson 11th grade ninja-the janitor sweeps the roses, like in the beginning of one Mr Peabody's improbable history episode) but let's see the more obvious ones; the Elm street in the halloween episode, and this
this one is from the movie "The shining" which is kinda thriller, so it goes perfectly to the halloween ep.
the halloween eps are one of the most sick episodes btw. I still didn't get over the Driscoll thing, and want to know how did he become this....this. (yea, the diet worked XD )
YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!
oh, and also the cosplays! it seems that Howard loves cosplays, loves to make clothes and wear them, even it's about a historical character or something else.
since the whole show is very colorful (I prefer Viceroy with light pink labcoat, guys!! ) it's easy to make my eyes bath in awesomeness.
I also love that Willem actually lives with Hannibal
and the height differences.
and I'm still thinking, how did Hanny lose his hand!

well, about the Sorceress, the story turned out to be positive and unique! she and the Sorcerer were together, it's the "even Hitler had a girlfriend" effect, I never believed that someone, like the Sorcerer can be found even in a girl form. what is the Sorcerer, anyway?
the other thing, and one of the most important for me, was the relationship-thing. it's ok, everyone ships Randy and Howard, they're an unexplainable thing, some kind of real bromance realtionship (I think I can't use the word 'bromance' since there's nothing like this in the hungarian language...)
but there are the other two, mentioned and shipped almost by noone, even they'd totally deserve it. yes!
somewhere I always knew, even before this episode that Hannibal is such a good guy, a charming boy, who does not yell at his people all day (mention that "his people" IS actually Viceroy. I love how they go
oh yes, in this one, McSwaggety introduces himself, who actually gives no fuck about the people of Norrisville.perfect!

also goes to the sick things-the episode in which EVERYONE suddenly grows a moustache, except Howard.
if you ever wondered, how a McFisteroy moustache looks...
the views and "the standing/place of the camera" are also worth to mention. very well done! my favorite is still the Monster drill episode, in which Viceroy takes that holiday, and we see McF shown between his legs...no kidding! cahh~
one of the saddest/heartbreaking moments in s1 was stank'd McFist. probably everyone else-except him-knows that the Sorcerer won't keep his promise once he gets out of that cave (who the hell built Norrisville anyway?!must've been a jerk and Sorcerer fan for taking all the breezing pipes there.
well, if we're at the stank'd McFist episode, let me show some-
I just love how Viceroy always touches McF somehow. and so does McF, not so often than Willy, but does! don't stop doing this!!
I also could write a book about the names (use of the first/last names-who uses which) but it'd be too long...just letting everyone to know that I noticed it.
if young Willem wasn't a great kaboomsky! to heart( it was ) , then here's young Hannibal!!!!!!cuteness is over 200%
bonus points go for steampunk daddy. and what steampunk daddy said about picking the meat from the production line.
makes me think about the actual ages?!! I mean, okay, Randy and Howard are about 15 years old. I said, Hanny is about 35 and Willy is a little bit less, about 33???????
ah, yes and there's also Marci somewhere. (did u know that Marci is a boy's name in hungarian?just according to this "Howard is a girl's name" thing, oh damn, do I have to make a Sherlock crossover now?instant heartbreak!! 8D )
the other collectible thing was the puppy eyes section.OvO
Viceroy break space and time and science, just to build something that Hanny will like.
Howard messes with S.Ward's pupil again. (S.Ward is also a great character!)
forgot to mention hair-dressing tips and ghosts/demons/tengu which sometimes occupy you.
final episode was a great whatthejuice! the first ninja with no self-respect made me think that I shouldn't be like him and I should respect myself a little bit more.
boom, suddenly the Sorcerer is here. (wild Sorcerer appeared??!)
Willem is so effin scared of the Sorcerer and hates him. and probably knows that they'd all die if there wasn't ninja...
the whole show makes me think about a lot of things. I also mentioned them, like the arm thing, the ages...and makes me think to that everyone else's got stank'd except (of course) Randy&Howard, but VICEROY!! it'd hurt even more than Hannibal...ouch!don't even think to it!
I forgot to mention that the only nachteil (not-so-good-thing) about the hungarian version is that they often fail with slang, and this'd be the smaller thing; but they often miss the translation, like translating "grave" to "grape", "worst" to "best" but to add some good point, the robo apes' voices are very well done.

...and there a lot, A LOT of things I didn't mention here. oh, how man... it goes to my tiny heart. I keep it.
onward to season two, and dear creators, please don't give up this crazy/sick style, don't give it up on anything. AND BY THIS I MEAN ANYTHING the show is perfect how it is, how the characters are, how the story is.
